The Quebec Nordiques have traded Nicklas Backstrom, Logan Couture, Dustin Byfuglien, Jonathan Bernier and a 2014 1st Round Pick to the Hartford Whalers. In return, the Whalers receive John Tavares, Taylor Hall, Alex Wennberg and a 2014 2nd Round Pick.
